A Wild Mother Pig And Her Piglets

no comments

I hike daily in Florida and see a lot of wildlife. I know of the problem with wild pig in Central Florida but was surprised to see a wild mother pig and her piglets along my hiking trail in the middle of the day. Central Florida has an over population of wild pig and it hurts farmers as the pigs will root the food crops and kill off many trees and plants. They are cute and should be safe as I was hiking through a wildlife preserve that doesn’t allow hunting and is far from the crops. Here are a couple photos of the mom and her piglets.
